Retail Designer Job Description
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a curious and creative Retail Designer ready to jump in and learn the ropes of transforming retail spaces. You’ll support the team with concept development, drawings, renderings, and material sourcing—bringing fresh ideas and an eagerness to grow.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing retail concepts—interior and exterior—through sketches, renderings, and mood boards.
- Support senior designers in preparing client presentations and visual storytelling materials.
- Draft plans, elevations, and details under guidance to bring concepts to life.
- Source and organize materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture samples.
- Help maintain project documentation, drawing sets, and sample libraries.
- Research trends, new materials, and innovative retail solutions to inspire fresh ideas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage several jobs at once.
- The ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors and exteriors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of final documentation, production and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Corel DRAW Graphics Suite
- Proficiency in Sketch Up
Education and Experience:
- Professional Interior Design or Architecture degree from FIDER/CIDA accredited school
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an architecture or commercial interior design firm required
- Experience in retail or restaurant design preferred
