Take 10/Barrel Heads is an innovative development uniquely combines a convenience store (Take 10) and premium liquor store (Barrel Heads) into a cohesive destination that maximizes customer convenience while elevating the typical retail experience. The project demonstrates exceptional community engagement through its commitment to donate $.10 per gallon from a dedicated gas pump to the neighboring Daviess County Middle School. The development strategically positions itself to capitalize on Owensboro's presence on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, offering both travelers and local connoisseurs access to rare and vintage bourbons while creating a sophisticated tasting experience that sets new standards for liquor retail in the region.

The centerpiece of Barrel Heads is its striking 40-foot by 12-foot bourbon wall featuring custom library-style woodwork complete with a rolling ladder, creating an upscale, distinctive atmosphere that transforms the typical liquor store experience. The space thoughtfully incorporates authentic bourbon barrels and custom window designs that reinforce the bourbon heritage theme, while a dedicated tasting bar offering 200+ bottles for sampling adds an interactive element rarely found in traditional liquor stores. The development's innovative dual drive-through system, serving both the convenience store and liquor store separately, streamlines the customer experience while maintaining distinct identities for each business within a cohesively designed exterior that seamlessly blends both concepts.
